it is hard to comprehend the gold and silver lining Catholic churches and yet many of their members do not have food to eat have gave their few coins for the cause. incredible beauty Goha and excellent capture. I went into a museum in the Filipines that housed Catholic antique relics. there were carriages lined with gold and silver. all kinds of sculptures of solid gold/silver.cameras were not allowed there so I was unable to record what I saw. let me tell you it was beyond imagination. it is privately owned and they charge admission.

Beautiful image - and yeah - the decoration is sort of beyond the "having your feet firmly on the ground" feel. But it does look awesome!

What an immense structure and beautiful. The most impressive church I ever saw was in Mexico. It was a gorgeous Catholic church . The inside had such wonderful craftmanship and painstaking detail like I have never seen. On the front courtyard were young mothers selling chewing gum to survive. The inside was very much like your photo, just beautiful.
