Description
Body texture is actually a baked procedural applied to a UV map, mixed with desaturated instances for the spec, bump and reflect channels. Weak bump though.
I didn't model this, but I did alter it considerably, to fix mesh problems after "freezing" it from its sub-patched state, and to fix a few things which I thought weren't quite right. Also, I had to do the UV Mapping so I can paint something over the existing texture in the future.
This is a very much a WIP. Particularly, I'm interested in comments as to how I can best go about making it look like it gets some action, and isn't so new-looking; I understand the concept behind making spec and bump maps for smudgy and scratchy stuff, but doing it is a different story altogether. ;)

well...from someone who's been playing for awhile (you asked..;) don't know how you'd go about it, but scratches and nicks; on the pick guard, maybe a little less reflective on the metal parts, white plastic turning towards a cream color, stuff like that. Frankly, it's a great model and texture (still doing baby steps in UVMapping), but I've got a few old guitars (ok, just 5..;) so I do know that part..;) keep it up..

Looks like the action neat the bottom frets is a little high, and the pick guard looks too metallic, but otherwise, looks great. Nice work.
