Description
"What is life?
It is the flash of a firefly in the night.
It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime.
It is the little shadow which runs across the grass
and loses itself in the sunset."
~ Crowfoot
Taken the at the close of day, December 31st, 2006. A fitting way to end the year, watching the majesty of nature from a boat on Lake June in Winter (yep, that's the name) and contemplating the coming of 2007. I don't know about you, but I'd much rather be here, than in the middle of a mob of people in Time's Square, New York.
I hope the year has started off well for everyone, and that in only gets better from here on out!

Awesome capture, I agree I would reather be on a boat watching/ catching anything, rather than being in a crowd of people. I like the rays coming from the clouds, nice warm feel to the photo. Stuart

One of two favorite times of the day...each with it's own show. I'm not sure which one I'm more fond of....sunrise or sunset..but who care's when they look like this...Shaka braddah Kort~ Aloha~

Kort you touch a nerve. I ponder the sensibility of being in the office every day, a lot lately. I quit, I get carried away. Excellent mood and great low light composition with so many pleasing colours from the colder to the warmer side of the spectrum. The fleecy clouds look great - bliss!
