Description

This is part of my son wedding. I took a lot of shots of it. wish I got more. But I guess that how we all feel at times. Here you see some of the brides maids getting ready. This is just before I walked my son up to the Atlar. He ask me not to take any photos of him and Roseland[ I misspelled it here lol] at the Atlar so I did not take any. My brother was there tapeing it anyway. Plus some one else I do not know was tapeing too. He going to send my brother the tape and my brother is going to edit them togeter. He real good at that. I know I do not pose people. I like to take it natual as much as I can. Yes there is times for poses and time to paint people too. I could not do it here. Here you see I pick this photo because a man walked in front of the shot. I like this for it give it a surreal look. Guess that what I like; surreal. Sorry it late here and I do not have much time for comments I do my best. Thanks for all the freinds here. Hope I can keep the wedding photos going. I got to get my film photos process lol I took those first

Everyone seems uncertain of their role. My sister just looked at the DVD that a photographer made of my son's wedding two years ago. My ex-wife gave two copies to my youngest son and he gave one to my sister. I think she just popped them into her purse as she hates technical and fragile stuff. My sister spent all last night hassling with Real and Microsoft about why it had skips. It is good you are there in person. That was my joy.

Amazing candid photograph of ladies getting ready for an important event. It is cool how nice they all look and yet how eerie the one moving gentleman turned out. Do not think anyone could plan and arrnage to get a shot like this, it just takes a great artist's eye and sense of timing and Jocko, you sure got them both!!!!

Dear Jock, I'm always amazed that wedding ever actually happen - there is also so MUCH pandemonium - it's amazing that it ever finally get together. I think being a wedding photographer would be a difficult job. You are trying to be in too many places at once - trying to do too many things at once - trying to corral and arrange too many people!! I too like impromptu pictures better. You are more likely to catch some magic that way. A row of folks lined up, all smiling away, doesn't really tell you much about what was going on. There isn't any story - and boy do I love the "stories!!" Tell you son and new daughter in law, congratulations from all of us here!!! We wish them all the best!!! I can't wait to see the rest of your pictures!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith

Cool shot of the ladies in waiting, Jocko! I'm not into wedding/marriage stuff myself but at least you can see people at their best; behavior, grooming and fashion style, that is.
