Description

I think of all the tulips I have seen these double fancy purple tulips are my favorites! As with the previous two images, these are shots I took last May at the Keukenhof gardens in Holland. 15546.jpg One of my favorite images I have done to date is of these lovely purple tulips. If you are interested click the thumbnail to view the image on my website. It seems too old to post it now, I did it back in 2001/2002 with painter/and photoshop and a very low resolution picture I had taken with my camcorder. - Here are some of my other recent works (I sometimes post at odd hours, so you may have missed them the first time around): thumb_1359474.jpg thumb_1358982.jpg thumb_1358662.jpg thumb_1357561.jpg thumb_1356930.jpg thumb_1356333.jpg

Incredible appearance and construction, almost resembling some of the roses. Well captured, good lighting and if it is open for selection, my choice would be nr 3 for composition in the side on capture.

Wonderful presentation... very nice to see these beauties in the middle of the winter... [If I remember well, the tulips were only blooming a few days in Keukenhof last Spring... so, you really did a good job ! ] :~)

growing up in the northern area of the US I loved tulips and waited every year for them to appear in our flowerbeds. Now, living in a hot valley in California, I have decided they aren't so much fun. They require too much attention if I want to see them bloom each year. These are exceptional tulips! Very wonderful capture.
