LMFAO... I intended this image to be an exercise in black backgrounds with minimal lighting...and while it's rendering Ilono popped up on MSN and started talking about her slippers.... hmmm... maybe put them under my bed... nah.. 12,000 mile apart..
So as the conversation goes along.. I told her my cats.. Wilbur and Charlie would deal to them.. destroy then.. turn them to shreds..and that's when the laughter started... this image just reminded me of a woman watching her slippers being torn to threads by two Kiwi cats... so the title changed... to 'Slippers'

A woman laughing like her when her slippers are shred to pieces by someone's cats is the right one to spend a whole life with... This was the first that popped into my mind when reading the text. I love this portrait, so much out of the way of your 'normal' style it may be, Deane! The laughter is incredibly well done and the lighting is a stunner!

Claws are set to kill, eh? I know how ferocious those Kiwi Kats can be...I saw a documentary about it. They are even more aggressive and destructive than those damn Hobbits you got down there! LOL! I must say her expression looks amazing with that fantasic expression! The mouth and teeth are obviously of V4 because V3 doesn't roll that way very well! I just hope Ilona doesn't leave anything else lying around with those killer felines on the loose! Excellent work, Deane, and I love the black! ;)

Oh... the other side of the whole story....( and dontget me started on YOUR slippers story hehehe).. Anyway...after that mean act of pure destruction with my poor slippers... that is the face of a woman watching a man eating all those "left overs" of the dead slipper!!!!!!!!!!... best teethy smile I've seen on a poser since I have been studying these pictures the past half year. Whoever reads this, If you've seen a better teethy smile, I'd like to see it. email me with the info... Other than shoulder and tongue imperfections, I'd have to say posers biggest flaw is the life in a smile... WELL, NOW I'VE SEEN IT DONE - GOOD JOB!

I see, your cats are in the leather-confetti business, too? We have one that likes to turn shoes into little slices, a little digger that cares for the potted plants and at least Willi, the confetti-boy, that can leave no paper-box, newspaper or kleenex alone, he just HAS to give it another form (or, better, many of them). So this image is perfect, indeed. There are just two ways to handle this: Laughing or ... well, but whom can resist the little critters, huh?!

Dear Deane, I can see that my cozy, well broken in, pink bunny slippers had better never show up in New Zealand!!! I had no idea that your country was populated with ferocious slipper shredding cats!!! The State Department should probably issue a special travelers' warning regarding terroristic feline activity in Kiwi land!!!!! Here they would make you post signs all around your house - "Beware of Slipper Shredding Cats!!!" ;-) Hmmmm - I think if it were me that my expression while watching my prized bunny slipper viciously attacked would be better suited for a horror movie!! "Oh the humanity - Oh the humanity!!!!!" Anyway - I have to agree with mikeerson (Mike?) that this is a world class smile!! I'm gonna have to save it for reference!! Smiles - particularly big smiles are impossible for me to do - and I really have worked at it - I've got a mirror beside my monitor for doing facial expressions!! (And for a little touch up to makeup and lips and things!!!) I'm just glad that no slipper were actually harmed in this render!! My bunny slippers will sleep much more soundly knowing that!!!!!!!
