Description

Here you see a friend of mine Jerrit. He in training for a fight in March here in town He wish for me to take movie film of him. He say his wife is doing it now but she gets into the fight and start waveing the camera. He also in training for the 2008 Olmyic Games. He lost his first fight but he fought against the champ. He almost won so they give him a rematch and he ko the champ. He have four ko's now. I know I got a wedding photos going but I was so happy to get to shoot these boxing photos that I had to post one. This was taken on my film camera with Fujifilm 400 True Definition. I see it too slow so i going to get the 800 color and 1600 black and white just to see what what. I do have some UV black and white I was thinking of useing that to see what it do. I do not know. I know the UV black and white was develop as a spy film useing low lighting to get the images they wish. I just have to think about it. cost $11 or $12 a roll lol. I got two of them. Thanks for ever thing

Dear Jock, I don't do "Awesome" comments - BUT - this really is an AWESOME photo!!!! You have really nailed the motion!! This is something that you should send to the sports magazines - or to the newspaper even!! And heck, it might get both you and Jerrit some additional publicity!!! It really is "Awesome!" I hope he does well with his boxing - and hope he doesn't get hurt, too!!!! One of our lawyers boxes. He did it back in college and still wroks out in the ring a couple of times a week. I don't think he does matches anymore, but he sures does enjoy it!!! He also does the "open mike" stuff at one of the comedy clubs!! He's a guy of quite a few talents. I'll be watching for the rest of your boxing photos!! But you're gonna realyl have to work hard to top this!!! "Awesome!!!!" And I'd love to see more of the wedding stuff!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith

I think it maybe more the camera being not able to catch the fast action instead of the film.still an excellent action capture

Excellent Jacko. Would love to see what you could do with B/W and boxing. It would add some grittiness to it. Love to see more:0)bonita

This is a top shot, jock. Love the motion blur too. I am glad you jump from wedding to boxing, it is good to mix work, post what you feel you want to. I wish Jerrit all the luck in the world. Hugs for you both :-)) Di.
