Dear Richard, I dont know what happened to hurt Susanne so badly. I just read her post and left a few words of my own. I also dont know what is happening with Wildgoha but will stop by there, also. Id like to include an excerpt from my comments to Susanne here because I think it bears repeating and it needs to be considered by all of us. I think everyone here that has been at Renderosity for any length of time has felt that way at some point. Ive had a few knocks myself and they hurt. But I always gave it a few days went out and smelled the roses and Ive stayed. I cant tell you what to do no one can do that. If you leave, you will be missed, but what matters is what YOU want to do. There is an old Ricky Nelson song called Garden Party that has a line in it that says, You cant please everybody, so youve got to please yourself. No truer words have ever been spoken. After Ive been beat up here each time Ive thought of leaving I always come back to that line. What pleases ME??? And in each case, Ive found that staying here with my friends is what pleases me most!!! In less than one week, this is the second time Ive quoted those lines for someone. We all go through ups and down here. And if you decide to say to heck with Renderosity, then we will understand and respect your wishes. But it has to be YOUR decision and it must be what pleases YOU the most. If you have liked it here, if you have enjoyed showing your work, if you have enjoyed visiting with your friends then give it a little time think what you gain by staying and think what you LOSE by leaving. But in the end DO WHAT PLEASES YOURSELF!!!!!! To thine own heart be true!! I do not claim to have all the answers I dont claim to have ANY answers but I do hope that everyone that has been stung by the hornets of Renderosity, will smell the roses and think things over. I too dont know what kind of gorgeous flower that is in your photograph, Richard, but perhaps its a sweet one and we should all stop by to smell it! Thank you for sharing the beautiful photograph with us, thank you for your sweet concern for Susanne and Wildgoha, and most of all, thank you for being a friend to us one and all!!!!! Love ya!!!! Meredith

Dear Richard, it is a glorious flower and capture. So wonderfully red!!! :-) The lasses will love it!!! It would totally break my heart to see either my Goha, or Susanne leave us. I think Meredith speaks with ture and sensible heart, on the issue of being hurt here at RR. There are far more kind, loving and caring people here. I truly hope both artist's and beloved friends will stay with us. We need them in our lives, so much. Gentle Hugs, for my kind Sir. Richard, thank you for this posting and dedication. Diane.

It's a celosia. The variety is cock's comb. There is also a feather variety that stands upright and is sometimes called flame celosia. They also come in pinks, yellows, magentas oranges and burgundies. A wonderful capture of this very beautiful flower
