I really like the colour and tone captured in this image, at first I thought it was a composition from several images but now I'm not so sure. Beautiful shot though! Bravo!

If you count the rings, you can tell how old the tree was before they sawed it down. 1,2,3,4 .... arh - getting mixed-up with the little rings. LOL Looks like over 100 years old. Lovely texture and rich colour. Well captured. Yip - even something this insignificant has a story to tell! Well done!
