Do you like Asian Cinema? If so, what is your favorite film?
I'm in love with Asian Cinema, history, and culture. I prefer to watch a great Korean Drama like "Emperor of the Sea" or "My Lovely Samsoon" over an American Soap Opera. "Hero" is my favorite movie which also stars my two favorite actors, Jet Li and Tony Leung Chiu Wai. The most poetic movie i've ever seen is about a "playboy" which also stars Tony Leung Chiu Wai called "2046" and is set in 1960's Hong Kong.
I've decided to make a series of Poser images based on movies i've seen over the years, or just based on Asian themes in general because well, that's just my muse right now. With the wide release of "Curse of the Golden Flower", starring Chow Yun Phat and Gong Li coming up on the 12th of this month, i'm pretty sure i'll have this theme going for awhile.

This image was created simply because I finally bought the Yennkeuri outfit and the Texture add-on i've been coveting for months. The character is Yumi, my favorite Asian female texture. Thanks to these merchants for creating such beautiful products!!

The only Asian i ever saw in movie must have been the Japanese text in the jailplanet / Alien III movie. Oh.. and the last Samurai.. oh and some James Bonds.. Hmmmm I am more often in Asian restaurants.. As I love the food ! Great image this is.. It has the mysterious Japanese atmosphere to it.

my favorite actor is , I believe Sam . I forgot his whole name but he had a series on tv about a cop from Hong kong on assignment in LA. he has been in several movies. awesome for an over weight martial art master. your lady is a charm, so beautiful as your props

I also have to admit to love for asian cinema that goes beyond anime, their films seem like a breath of fresh compared to movies state side which tend to fall into the same predictable plot or simply remaking an old idea. I look foward to seeing your future in the series. Oh did I forget to mention how much I love this image. The fabric and design of her outfit. The gazebo and surrounding flora and the background seems so tranquil.

Well, Cruzin' of course you would feel this way, you're in Okinawa! You want nothing more than to see a great American bang bang, shoot 'em up movie without subtitles!! LOL...I feel your pain. When I was stationed in Germany I felt the same way. Come home soon... ;-)

Oh, THANKS QP3! After watching so many films with amazing scenery, and looking at many paintings I worked really hard to capture that Asian sea and garden feel in my background. :-) I created the background in Photoshop and the florals are mostly from RDNA. The gazebo is from Daz3D.
