Description

G'day. This shot is from the south side of Phillip Island (near Melbourne). The haziness is due the major bushfire(s) smoke Dec06. This coastline faces Bass Straight which lies between the Australian mainland and Tasmania. It is known as a very rough sea (at times and has killed many boatesmen/women)and this coast line is very rugged and dangerous thanks to the volcanic rock outcrops. There are several ship wrecks along this coast too!! Still i love coming here to watch the waves crashing on these rocks. Enjoy Louise
