Ah, to eat... well, I'd love a nice thick slab of rare roast beef, yorkshire pudding and fresh green peas with brown gravy... a deep dish of warm bread pudding for dessert with a bit of hard sauce on top. To drink... with dinner perhaps a nice herbal tea supplemented with a tall glass of icy spring water, with dessert I'd drink a cup of strong-brewed black coffee and afterward a lovely gin and orange juice to see me through until bedtime - which wouldn't be too far in the distance after such a marvelous meal. :-)(I'm an oddity in the magical land of California as I do not care much for wine unless its white wine mixed with 7-up and cherry juice...) And, Diane? Can you have it on the table by 6:00 so I can get myself home and in bed by 11:00? LOL! Nice thought and nice photo. Perhaps someday we really will enjoy dinner together.
