The fog bank above the snow field is the fog off the frozen lake. The clouds are coming in from above, low, like a valley of clouds. It was just incredible to be in it that day, I stood in one place and watched the landscape move and transfom the land every few minutes. It was a special day, and place.

What a beautful beautiful shot! I used to live near the Great Lakes, and this reminds me of the cold winds that blew. It would freeze the moisture in your nose! I am off to see if your homepage says where you live.
