Description
It's been a long time. I've been tied up with this and that.
Anyway, here are Tom Baker's and Christopher Eccleston/David Tennant's sonic-screwdrivers from Doctor Who.
I used photo references from the show and my own recent xmas presents as references.
Entirely modeled and rendered in Carrara.

Never actually seen the show, so I can't comment on how accurate these are, but they look great none the less! Almost looks like a photo!

The screwdrivers are cool, definitely, but I think I almost like your animated Maria head icon more. Metropolis is the best film in the universe, in my humble mind.

Ah... The current Doctor's get out of jail free card. Over-used and over-exposed. The 70s one is by far the most elegant in its sheer simplicity. Theses are beautifully done and look totally realistic. Brilliant (avoid the over-used 'fantastic' like the plague!)

Sorry to comment so late on this, but the world of Rendo is so large! Excellent modeling- a great subject to work on as well- the writing behind Dr. Who has always been so much better than huge budget productions that stress form over function and fx over storyline. I grew up with Tom Baker, but the new stories are really entertaining and well done too. Nice comparison between new and old- excellent models, and the render quality is top notch!
