BIO I'm 44, male, Six foot two tall with long hair and a beard. I'm married with no kids. I live in Melbourne Australia, and have done all my life. turn off the ambient lighting, turn on the radiosity. it may take a while to render, but it'd improve the image and its gloomy mood no end.

I tried your idea, Pentamiter, and yes it does make it look more gloomy, but turning a 2m55s frame into 4h51m37s frame when its part of a 400 frame avi just isn't time effective. Although I might use those settings for a couple of still shots later. Pagrin :-)
