Description

View on Courtyard, Pagoda Suzhou , China 06/17 Beisi Ta, a 1800-year-old pagoda of 76 metres. Part of the Northern temple-pagoda complex in Suzhou with a huge statute of a laughing Buddha Suzhou is a city with a long history on the lower reaches of the Yangtze river and on the shores of lake Taihu in the province of Jiangsu, China. The city is renowned for its beautiful stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulously designed gardens, which has become a great tourist attraction. Suzhou has also been an important centre for China's silk industry since the Song Dynasty (960-1279), and continues to hold that prominent position today. It is part of the Golden Triangle region. I like this shot. From the dark looking out to the bright area. I fancy the lanterns, I love them! Interesting, they always got red color!

This is a beautiful capture! And thank you so much for the brief history and information about this place. The windows are very unusual, especially now a days... definitely has a historic and very traditional feel to it. I love the perspective you've taken this photo at, leaves a lot to the imagination, but reveals just enough!
