Description
On thursday Jan.11 2007 I lost my beloved dog Sadie. She was by my side for 12 yrs. She fought a good fight againt cancer and old age. She was old and tired. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, loyal or funny companion for me and my family. Not only was she our friend, she was our family. We love you pup.

I just lost my Rotty Dante after 9.5 years and a good 10 mo. battle with Osteosarcoma. Letting him go was the absolute hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I feel your grief and just want to pass on a couple of things to you Priss117: First this verse from the Poet RUMI : Your grief for what youve lost holds a mirror up to where youve bravely working. Expecting the worst, you look and instead, heres the joyful face youve been wanting to see. Your hand opens and closes and opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralyzed. Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expand the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as birdwings. Jalaluddin Rumi (1207-1273) Also you can see a couple of images I did while he was sick (in my gallery) haven't had the heart to create anything in so long. Im just now getting back to normal and looking for another puppy! I wish you Peace, comfort and joy.
