Description

Hey dudes, So I'm in London. Not vry impressed with the accomadation but it's a roof and a place formy stuff and i know the area, so i'll make do for now... hope y'll are cool or hot in your respective places. mainly posting to say hi and show i still love y'll. i'm looking for a site with more technical feedback and genre appreciation. i love rendo has a homebase and it is awesome for the beginners. i just feel i've outgrow it technically and need more harsh, conrtructive critism. don't worry, i ain't eaving or anything, just not spending so much time i suppose. love you all dearly! and the pics will keep on coming for whom ever chooses to view them :)

Actually, I like this work a lot! As far as R'R is, well, I'm a newbie here, and have had amazing responses to works I've never presented before .. I'm always learning. It is Renderosity.. with much Bryce, Poser, Daz etc .. however, the welcome I received from the photographers here .. Priceless! I have many galleries online, and have had the greatest response here. Cheers! Kurt

Hey Vera. Let me tell you the best place for real harsh and honest critique. 1.Open a gallery in your city. 2.Join a club where you bring in prints that are matted and on the days when it is your turn for critique you will receive it. Most online sites will offer you praise. The best place for critique is in the forums though. Once in your gallery it should be something you are satisfied with. Remember not everyone sees the image the same way you do. Monitors are so different, which means online galleries do not show it as you would view it as a print. I do like this shot. I think it needs better focus as your lens probably hit the branches and stopped.Manual focus might have brought the buildings in better. More light on the grass....Perhaps a bit more of the left tree trunk could show. LOL OK that's my opinion, and don't get bent out of shape. Also I hope you do keep having a good time there.

Tx DB for the honest opinion. I know that shots don't look as good on online as on paper. All I'm saying is one gets different ppl and different views from oter sites. I love rendo - i just think in terms of the gallery, views and comments are genre and artist specific. @ Kurt - I wasn't knocking Rendo all I was saying is that I feel I've out grown the teaching level and need more. I'm seen ppl say that they are searching for other sites before and I thought, why Rendo has everything. But no I understand. And tis is all from a photographers point of view.

Nice ! (A bit too much branches on the top). When you will find a site with more technical feedback and genre appreciation, tell me, I'interested in finding such a site. dBgrafix is right, I'm involved in a photo-club and there you can get true and pure technical and photographical feedback.
