One of the great benefits of salvation is access to the very throne of God. In this life we may not be able to call a world ruler, have a meeting with a prime minister or a president but you can still have an audience with the Creator of the universe. In this life unless you are very close to those in power chances are you will never get to meet them or truly be heard by them. We might see their pictures, see them on TV and maybe even see them in person but in most cases they will not even know we exist. But God has never wanted this to be our relationship with Him. God did not want for those who believed in Jesus to be far away, distant or for Him to be a stranger to us. This is why Jesus created a new way, a way that did not exist before He paid for our sins on the cross.
