Description

The Biesbosch is a vast wetland almost in the centre of the Netherlands. It is the result of the St. Elisabethsvloed of 1421. Huge areas were flooded that year and never to be dry land again. So water, reed, trees still rule the area. Less people live here..a very rare phenomenon in our overcrowded country. This picture has been taken less than two hours ago. Postwork has been done.
