Description
My honey and I met this cute little fella here up at a ski lodge in south-eastern Bavaria, while she was down here.
His real name is Maruk (Which means "bear" in Alaskan) but we just called him "Bernie", a name - like we both thought - fit his gentle character way better.

EIJAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I just took the exact same photo of my dog Eija today. Only she had snow all over her face as well. What a beautiful profile. These dogs are spectacular arent they? I cant think of any dog that is as photogenic as a Bernese Mountain Dog. Fitting name for him indeed. Excellent work, thanks for sharing. #:O)

I love this portrait! It's so simple (White background, profile, neck and forehead on centre line) and it works beautifully. Sometimes animals can look (and act) far wiser than us shaved apes.
