Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

I wanted to comment on this because, while it's a sketch, you caught a lot of movement throughout; your lines & application of colors really do sweep across the road and up the bushes. The whole Western Art tradition has placed drawings & sketches in a 'secondary' role, and that's wrong: Because, while they may not take the time that a finished large painting does, they can capture the artist's vision beautifully. I like the motion here, the way you apply shade to the bushes with such free lines, and shade to the underside of the trees...it's all applied with a jazz-like freedom and it feels invigorating to me. In those drawings and free-hand paintings I've seen of yours, I've noticed how you get essentials with simple means, and this is an example. And then the quick lines of the grass—nothing finished, but active & bold and telling us right out that there's life here. I'm a big fan of art like this, and I wanted to comment on this for a while. It's what a sketch should be—it's got a lot of energy and it fills the actual scene with the energy of the artist, like you breathed it out in a big energetic breath, and whoosh, we have a painting. I really like this...
