"no, wait.... that can't be right." The Dubya is thinking about his future, what is he going to do once he's out of office. They won't give him another Savings and Loan to run into the ground, or another baseball team to non-manage, his oil stocks may not be worth anything, and he is no where near as well loved as his Daddy and that Clinton guy. Hell, no one will even buy his memoirs, except as a fiction novel. What to do, what to do? Maybe get a real job, and work like a real person..... something commensurate with his college GPA.
Okay, don't take this toooooo seriously, we know The Dubya is going to do all right when he gets out of office.... he'll be fine. He'll slip into well earned obscurity and no one will ever question him again. He'll be fine!
