Wassily - Designed by Marcel Breuer, circa 1925 Marcel Breuer, inspired by a bicycles form and material, translated those qualities into a chair. Thirty years later Breuer would name the chair after his artist friend Wassily Kandinsky who was very fond of Breuers design.
