Description

On the Trail of the Wild Carmen Day 2 Here we have a wild Carmen trying to attract her mate. Ain]t she a beaut! Notice the bright white plumage and red colours around her mouth. This is sure to entice the males. She will just lye there until a suitable specimen approaches. They must be very careful though when wowing the Wild Carmen because she has been known to devour her mates and sometimes even give them a brutal tickling. I was very luck to have been able to capture this rare and beautiful display without being mauled.
