Description
I've never seen one of these before. But there he was outside my door this morning.
I suppose the cold weather draws more unusual birds closer to the feeders this time of year.
It's been very icy, and the wind chills were down around zero this morning.
Only a couple of shots and then he was gone. Thanks for looking, Maria

BEAUTIFUL!!! What a gorgeous bird he is! I've never seen one like him. He looks like a watercolor painting. His feathers have a beautiful transition/gradient in color ... almost like a gaussian blur! Incredible shot...perfect DOF!!! A superb picture and I like your framing. :-)
