Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

Okay, it appears that this is one of 'those' images! You know the ones, the deceptively simple ones that show up later in a nightmare or just plain 'weird' dream, the nights where 'something' has taken root in your mind and simply WON'T LEAVE! grin You, sir/madam, have a wickedly warped sense of humor! But a good artist!

Of course, somebody will turn up and claim that it's an unconscious homage to The Little Galleries of the Photo-Secession (later known as 291), a New York Gallery run by Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen at 291 Fifth Avenue between 1905 and 1917. But until that happens, just enjoy the view. I notice that some of the tubes are going dim. Showing their age, as we all do sooner or later. ;)

Englishbob got to it before me...nice touch on the 'dimming bulbs'. Come on people, how can you NOT know, it's SO obvious that this is a direct reference to volume 291 of Science Magazine and the article concerning TRANSGENIC ANIMALS in which an infant monkey carries jellyfish genes that causes their fingernails and toenails to glow in flourescent lighting, geez! Bravo Frogdot for bringing this amazing scientific fact to light (pun intended, hee).

Why 291? Why not 42?? ;-)
