This heron stands in my next door neighbours garden. PJ, I asked permission to take this shot :-))) I hope you all like it. Cricri99 has an amazing gallery, he bring to me huge smiles with his work and his "off the wall" sense of FUN!!! My gosh! I love this metal bird and the sunset behind it is haunting. Just a wonderful photo - the bench and all. great pov and compo! So nice to ASK to photograph in someone else's garden... a novel idea and one I'll have to mull over. LOL. So much easier to just do a belly-crawl through the brush and always carry a dog treat or two in the old back pocket!

I find this so interesting! I love the balance in light and dark, shapes and forms. It has a genuine feel of surrealism. The sun on the horizon gives it a sense of reality. Strange and unique. I really like it.

Even though you can tell it is not the original sky, it makes such a striking piece of art that you can't help but love it.
