Description

Sorry I haven't been around much- work has been nuts. I've missed browsing the galleries. :( Wrote a quick little variation of the haiku scripts I posted a little while ago- hope you guys enjoy it. :) http://www.5thdimensionstudios.com/Liz-haiku-StormSpirals-1-16-07.zip Documentation: {Haiku Script - by Elizabeth Tomchek Storm Spirals version 1-16-07 This is a ZEN script. It produces beautiful, easy, random images, that I personally find soothing and calming. Its about remembering that things don't have to be perfect to be beautiful. When you use this script, sometimes its best to try not to concentrate so hard on "making" images- let yourself relax and "find" them! Not everything will be fantastic (some you'll probably find downright horrid) but just keep looking- and having a good time! Storm Spirals Version Notes: This version of the haiku script adds an additional "string" transforms with random variations, producing an interesting effect. It then adds a randomly scaled and rotated linear with an extremely high weight, producing lots and losts of beautiful spirals. I thought the effect resembled stormy clouds. :) TECHNICAL STUFF AND INSTRUCTIONS This script will generate a random flame image using the linear variation and random sizing, rotation (in increments of 45 degrees), and weight. The script will generate a random number of transforms. Each transform will then be scaled, rotated, and duplicated/flipped based on random numbers. TO CHANGE RANDOM SETTINGS: Change the variables listed at the top. (Under the procedure functions.) The variable settings represent percentages. If you want transforms to be rotated up to 80% of the time set the rotate setting to 80. This doesn't mean that 80% of the transforms will be rotated, it means that 80% of the transforms *MIGHT* be rotated. The rotate decision is still random. Play! Change the variations of the kitestrings! (1st transform) Change weights! Move the spiral transform (2nd transform) and see what appens! }
