Dear Dave, Hmmmm - I'm from the Houston, Texas area and the "Go Texan" stuff is very big around this time of year when the rodeo and livestock show gets into gear - and - people tend to dress up for it - including me - and I've worn SEVERAL different black hats over the years!!!!! SO - I really appreciate you pointing at that the black hat can sometimes cover the head of a really sweet little darling instead of a bad guy!!! (And I'll leave it up to others to decide which category I belong in!!!!!) Actually, leaving it up to others may not be such a good idea! After all, back in high school when we did "Oklahoma" one year as a musical, I was the unanimous choice for Ado Annie!!!!!!! ;-) And just as bad, I was Rizzo in "Grease!!!!" Do we detect a trend here???????? ;-) This is a really super up-close portrait!! She's a real beauty!! The black Stetson looks absolutely real!!! First rate job!!!
