Description

i saw the darker side behind the walls of an old city crimes were comitted we were vaguely impressed and weak watered down in ignorance with sedated words little truth was spoken and even then we lost their value out of sight out of mind out of control we started our journey the horizon an eyelash away well this might not be too clear for those of you frozen in time those who climb a mountain in order to descend again the valley is where we belong scheming, gossiping preparing little crimes against little people in a disinterested world +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thanks for reading this poem Dirk

Mountains, valleys are mirror images of each other in profile. I am a product of valleys among mountains and know that each of these self-contained troughs eventually reach down to the clear air and horizons of the sea. We have the choice to take this route or clamber aimlessly over each false ridge of hope. This was a powerful and seminal piece of poetry. Thank you. Mike

In return to your inspiring praise on my own. I viewed your gallery to be awestruck by your incredible art talents. And even more so by your literary talents! Well done. This one especially is a favorite. Erik
