Description
Panorama made up of 4 vertical shots. I've wanted to learn how to do this since I stumbled on Robert Mekis on deviantart. He's absolutely amazing, even more so that he generally uses the original Digital Rebel with the kit lens!
This is my first success after many tries. It was a particularly foggy morning.
Edit: To answer why I used vertical slices, this was actually an 11 shot pano. I've decided to release it as 2 seperate pano's instead (second soon to come). Also, I'm not sure I could've gotten the same with horizontal shots in this particular park, at least with this lens. Who knows tho, I didn't try because I was going for something much larger.

outstanding scene and capture. I fail to see any height, suggesting a vertical pano. maybe I need to clean my glasses

The fog adds a wonderful mood huh? I like it! I gotta ask this, with the crop you have used, I fail to see the need for vertical captures. Would two side by side captures not give you the same thing?

You have done very well, no visible seems stitching the captures together and the pano makes for an excellent display in this case.
