Favorite sayings:
Old as dirt, but with a fresh washed spirit and a mind that does not know the difference.
My bicycle is slower than yours.
If you had left when you first got here, you would be there by now.
I would not render with me either if I was you.
Keep your wheels rubber side down.
After toothpaste, everything else is just altered slight. ( UltraBright anyone? )
Nature bats last.
Tuffest things I have ever done:
Long's Peak, 1998 Ride the Rockies, with bronchitis.
Wolf Creak pass 1991 with bike trunk full of rocks.
I like Rederosity because:
I can see great art and sometimes tips on how it was done.
Lots of creativity and talent on display
I can share my efforts and get upbeat, helpful comments, warn fuzzies, and real suggestions on how to do better.
I can lend my eyes and mind two others, critically view their work, and make suggestions which may enable them to progress even further along a talent and skill path which seems to be without bounds.
Did I mention all the creativity and talent?
I want it all, your art, your comments, and your respect darn it!

Dear Mike, Hmmm - I'm not so sure it's a good idea to be that close to a red giant. Not only is it going to be unstable and "breathing," and also pre-nova or pre-supernova, but it is likely to be a REAL magnetic mess. And then their is the tidal effects ifthey are inside the Roche limit!! BUT - since we are talking about a starship - that warps out of the neighborhood faster than the speed of light - they've obviously got a pretty good handle on space-time - so I figure they can shield themselves from probably everything - including gravity!!! And of course, you can make a pretty convincing argument that gravity IS space-time, so if you can manipulate one, you can manipute the other. SO - the Enterprise is probably not in any real danger!!! (That's a relief!!!) ;-) Really nice work on the nebula and on the red giant and on the white dwarf in the distance!!! And vry nice work in converting the Enterprise to OBJ format!! Very dramatic scene and suprb sci-fi work!!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
