Description

Well, ive nearly finished writing a track in the studio, just a bit more and then the mixing to do. I have been tinkering on and off with one of my volumetric worlds that i made before christmas. I added a second isosurface for watery inlets/rivers type thing, but i mainly have been trying to get some proper deep sunset/sunrise images and have never found the way mojoworld handles them very good, so i have altered my emission FG for the main atmosphere to output in red and ramped up the max output to a high level, i left all the clouds emission FG in the blue/grey and changed the re-emission dots to sunset type colours(slightly different hues for each deck). I have not applied any postwork at all on this image. I can share this world file (at 3dc not here at rendo as the whole process here frustrates me) so if anyone wants to try making sunsets/sunrises with the atmos components in their own planets they can try. Created using Dmytrys volumetric plug-in Cheers, see you soon... Shaun

I love the Strong Sun rays. Not too keen on the red atmos at the lower lands but each to their own. To me it looks too dense & then stops as if there is a few miles before you hit a wall of red fog???? i rarely use 3DC but when I next popover Ill be sure to grab the file :-) Is the music track downloadable too, when complete?

Fair comment woz, i know you're not keen on red atmos, this is meant to be a depiction of a deep sunset, i took some of my leads from a text book so it is quite close to certain sunsets that you see in nature, the fog is meant to make the mountains look very far off and give a sense of scale. As for the music, i will be making a website for my music at some point as its the way things are headed now. i do have many other tracks already written though. Shaun.
