Description

Just a few days ago I came back from a family holiday in a resort very close to the border of Victoria and New South Wales, in Australia. The resort would have once been right up against the lake, but with the recent droughts and possibly drainage to fight the bushfires with, it's been reduced to something less than a shadow of its former self. When we first got there, it was at 4% capacity. By the time we left a few days later, it was at 3%. This picture shows what much of the shoreline looks like. ================================== Photo was taken with the surprisingly disappointing Olympus FE-130. While it's incredibly smaller than my older Nikon Coolpix 5700 and they're both 5mpx, the image quality just doesn't compare :/

ouch, that is a sad situation. There is something about the drying/cracked landscape of water beds that is rather hypnotizing to look at. Nice photo of a tough situation, Rays.
