Description

I don't know this old lady... I saw her in the emergency station of the hospital... she was there helpless and lonely... and she had fear... this is maybe the last picture that was shot from her...

A stereotype report as I like them... what a talent! The depth of field is superb and the atmosphere which gives off watch with what a from it not it is necessary to look at old age opposite.... but not to think of ours! Congratulations!

A pretty stark realization; not everyone dies peacefully during the night. Although sad, still a great capture!!

On the other hand, you can see that they have made her as comfortable as possible, and the nurse looks friendly--you have to come to an inner city ER in the US (Saturday night) to see a real horror scene!

I like the picture, diffinatley gives you a feeling of an unwanted future. I am not sure about the tittle. Is it the old lady thats the horror or the fate that we will all end up in a hospital, maybe not to unlike this!

Very sad but thought provoking, not a subject one covers regularly. You have done well!

A great image to depict the loneliness of old age, and hospitals are not the worst offenders in the UK but some old peoples homes where they must give up their homes in exchange for a terrible quality of life.. A sad reflection perhaps in the Western world where we do not have the respect for our elders, that we should, in this we can learn more from other cultures..

This poor woman was once you like us all and once she had friends. No its not the place to dwell in the winter years of ones life and in secret we may see her on a low ebb. I like your style of capturing the fear we all face. Let us hope the poor woman has family and still many things to look forward to in life.
