To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

We certainly have ... bitersweet words and image - but what would we do without such drama in our lives? It's the very stuff of memories - and dreams - without which our lives would be dull and drab. You picture is gorgeous and eloquent. Mike

I imagine that an intelligent alien recording his/her/its observations of earth's so-called civilizations would come to one unassailable conclusion: the planet is populated by bread mold. It contains masses of seething ever expanding colonies of bread mold 'ever looking for more bread. From a dog's point-of-view, human relations and exploits are the greatest stories ever told. Excellent image dear Mina.

What a most beautiful work, love it, so melancholic but in a way that it goes under the skin, as we say in Switzerland ;o) Happy day Mina!

Yes, I remember! For there to be pain, there as to be pleasure. Otherwise, we wouldn't know what we miss. And, we would be so dull, unable to create such art as this. Such is life and love. Your wonderful image is so expressive of the experience in the lyrics. Hugs, Mina! x:)
