This is great. The shadows cast by the fencing onto the child are lovely. There are so many symbols in this shot. The fence being imprisonment, the stairs being her lack of drive to achieve or 'climb' to a better life. I could go on all day. Her expression and lack of interest in the photographer are also big selling points. Of course, I could be looking to deeply, and you didn't intend for any of this. Either way, great shot.
