Description

Living in South Africa let's a person appreciate the animals and nature we have. The Rhino is one of the Big 5 and also a favourite animal of mine. INFO: We have 2 Rhino species in SA. The White and the Black Rhino. White Rhino - Height 1,8m and 1 800kg in weight. They eat grass and shrubs. Always in groups of 4, etc. Cannot see well, but can hear and smell good. Light in colour (sandy colour). Black Rhino - Height 1,5m and 900kg in weight. Grey-brown in colour. It's upper lip hooks over it's lower lip. It's head is smaller than the White Rhino. This one eats from shrubs and trees. The picture was a photo I took and converted it to my line art, scanned in and ended it off with psp. Thank you for looking and for any comments given...

One of my fave animals! They're magnificant creatures and you've presented this wonderful animal so beautifully. My very fave I think has to be the hippo, now there's a crature with character as well!

We call our property here in the Santa cruz mountains Rhino Ranch because the shape of our acreage is just like a Rhino head..and the map i have of our water tank and lines and electrical and other stuff make up its eyes and mouth..Strange but true..Excellent photo conversion,and thanks for the info..

Fantastic control over tonal ranges to produce depth and make the rhino stand out from the 2D display. Very appealing mix of soft and fine detail in the image. Beautiful display of the cantankerous Black Rhino!
