Description

View from Bob's Throne by Bob This image has many levels of deep personal significance. After more than ten years of looking at the same set of objects it had to be executed as an image. I smoke. Not in the house though because I also have children. So the outside loo is a place to relax and smoke. The loo is a place to find solitude from the hussle and bussle of family life. After working hard on the computer for and hour or so, whether image making or writing code, I wish a break and a smoke. Or when I am stuck on a problem and need to change environments. I do some of my best thinking there. It is the place where solutions and answers often appear for me. It is also one of the places I do my deepest philosophical thinking about the whichness of the why. Here also through mystic visualisation I sink Zen like into various states of awareness. Awareness of the illusionistic nature of sensate experience as solid matter dissolves into forces & fields. Awareness of the energy of the Tao that connects All Life and Earth together into one family in flux. Awareness of the powerful thrust of chaos pushing all that is possible and improbable into existence. Even awareness of the Sea of Grace through which can be perceived a glimpse of the Presence of God. So that there grows the sureness that the loo is Bob’s Throne and his Ego accepts its humble place. Ahh!! But the view. The view is of all the world, the universe, the cosmos, and beyond. "HE poured HIS GRACE which is DIVINE LOVE into the growing UNIVERSE. So what is called CHAOS came into existence which is PROBABILITY finding its WAY. So what is called the TAO came into existence which is CYCLES of constant CHANGE. So what is called LAWS of NATURE came into existence which is REALITY of the SENSES. This CURVED SPACE sphere continued to grow through CHAOS and CHANGE and LAW." Quoted from "MYTHIC SONG of the SACRED and the PROFANE" by Bob Mathews Thanks Bob (Hexagonal Mandala)

Oh My! This is so exciting. The garage is my space. I understand exactly what you are writing about. So I'm not strange after all. LOL
