Description
This is a picture of a street recreated at the Black Country Museum, Dudley. On it there is an old fashioned fish and chip shop that sells the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. All the shops there are just as they would have been about a hundred years ago.The bakery and sweet shop sell some tasty stuff too:-)

OMG! That's not far from me! I remember going there on a school trip once. This brings back some great childhood memories.

Have you tried Beamish (south of Newcastle)? They've got trams.

This place has trams too, plus a crooked house, and canal boats, and even an open cast mine you can go down. Will try the Beamish next time I'm up that way. Always open to new places...thanks for the suggestion;-)

Interesting, though I would loved to see more detail of the "olden" times.

Nice, but everything's too real. If you hadn't told us, I would have thought this was a normal street and therefore utterly uninteresting. Do post more pics of the recreated stuff, preferably without real visitors.
