Description
The rebellion of youth and the birth of rock n roll in the fifties needed a special type of bike. A lot of owners built bikes to suit their own requirements but they all had to be as fast as possible.
This type of bike could also be regularly seen at the famous tt races on the Isle of Man.
I took this photo at a local car show a while back . I also wanted to include the owner who must have been well into his seventies but he proved too camera shy.
Image converted to black and white and different background added.
Thanks for looking

What a beauty, looks in fabulous shape too. Yeah, reckon I seen a few of these at the tt's, although they'd never come in 1st. That was Mike Hailwoods job on his MV Augusta! Haha.... a very cool ride down memory lane! Nice work for sure!!

Fantastic piece of machinery well captured and loaded with the memories of the youth of yesterday.

I do love these old dual overhead camshaft Internationals. Only when I researched SU did I find Tilly of the NPE had owned one when she visited the Spit bases. Now an Amal GP with separate float bowl no longer is a mystery.

Years ago, a good friend of mine had a Norton. He loved that bike. :)
