Description
That's a vision that roamed in my poor head since sometime...The technic used to do this one is a simple one,really
for the lighting:there is 5 light source on this picture,one rear distant light(light the front of the character),red at 100% intensity,this one has shadow(Deep SHadow map) on somewhat in the 35-45% softness and a Shadow Bias of 5-7,the second distant light(light the back of the character) is light grey somewhat in the 50% intensity,without shadow
there is 3 points light behind the blade of the scythe,the first one near the dragons is red and at 100% size and intensity with shadow on,the second one mid level of the blade in red-orange hue at 66%-75%,no shadow and 100% size and the last one near the tips of the blade in yellow-orange hue at 33%-50%,no shadow and 100% size
I render the background picture with the sky in back drop a first time(without the character and wood beams under her set to invisible),saved the picture in .jpg,I removed the whole background and military structures,loaded my brand new .jpg as back drop in DAZ Studio,put the wood beams visible again and using the perspective camera(keeping the default camera POV this way)set the character,I slightly lighten the front distant light(more whitish) and added the 3 points lights!render,save as .png once(for postwork) save as .jpg a second time, postwork and mix(.jpg under and .png above)then here you go...
