Description
Avatar? Strange name for a space station, ay what? I don't even know what the UNSE stands for, although the UN could mean United Nations.
This space station is far more advanced than the International Space Station presently in orbit.
This was a relatively easy composition. I used a photo of our planet taken from outer space as the background, then superimposed the space station (a model I obtained from DAZ3D) on top. I followed that with some careful manipulation involving the light source and shadow deletion, a bit of Photoshop, and that was it.
Thanks for dropping by!

Great scene, although I do think Bryce's stars are somewhat lacking in their realism. Nice work.

Excellent work!

Sweet! Looks really solid, too! The feeling of "stasis" is quite striking! And you chose a great earth photo! The shadows and stars? Well...I've never been in space, but I think the shadow shouldn't cast in three directions. Two or three stars of less magnitude(at that distance from planet, most are obscure) might be more convincing. Still, cool to look at!

The result is impressive...the only thing what counts, I suggest ;o)
