Description

Ninja: Japanese warriors most associated and stereotyped with spying, infiltration and assassination. They became legends in their time, supposedly capable of disappearing into thin air among other stealth-like abilities. Ninja also employed a variety of weapons and tricks using gunpowder. Smoke bombs and firecrackers were widely used to aid an escape or create a diversion for an attack. They used timed fuses to delay explosions. ÅŒzutsu (cannons) they constructed could be used to launch fiery sparks as well as projectiles at a target. Even land mines were constructed that used a mechanical fuse or a lit, oil-soaked string. Secrets of making desirable mixes of gunpowder were strictly guarded in many ninja clans. I present the second element of the Ninja: Fire. Each element represents a system of certain moods, stances, general ways of thinking and such, fire, for example, is an aggressive element, so the movement is forward and backward. ********************************************** Other than viewing the movie I mentioned on my last image I haven't seen any "real" Ninja movies since. I've seen several Samurai movies with a few Ninja's popping up, but that's about it. Do you know of any good Ninja movies you can recommend?

great pics of the ninja. For movies try "The Hunted" staring John Lone and Christopher Lambert. it's not great, but for a "B-Movie" with ninja (and samurai) it's one of the better ones imo. And it's worth seeing for John Lone's character alone! The thing to remember is 'real ninja" and 'movie" don't really go together lol. nice job on the pic.

Love the pose and flame effects. I think placing the figure to the side like you did is what makes the compisition so good!

I do nor remember seeing that much movies with Ninja inside, mainly Samurai...You could try to check the serie of movies named "Babycart/The Lone Wolf and the cube" and in Abime the only one I could think just like that is "Ninja SCroll..." Great idea!Nice fire Nina and well done picture!
