Description
This sculpture stands outside The James Cook Memorial Hospital In Middlesbrough. I was visiting David when I took this shot, the human sipirt never ceases to amaze me!! I was alone, frightened and lost!! I could still see the beauty around me and capture it :-) I think I am one of the luckiest people here at RR. BountifulKnight & Wildgoha both helped me with editing and postworking of this shot. I have no tools available to me to do this for myself, YET!! Very nice capture! I am very sure that I ran into a statue of James Cook in Anchorage, Alaska. The design of the statue would represent his circumnavigation of the globe and the sextant that guided him. If I remember the story correctly. James Cook was one of my childhood heroes. Dana
