Well, is a "Live as a wild" too, isn't it? But a cool image for sure, even when I do not like these bloody images. I prefer subtle spiders! :-)))

Oh oh....someone had too many Cherry Jello Snack Packs for lunch! LOL! Sorry, Carol, I couldn't resist! =D Blood is life, blood is death...the food chain goes on until the cycle of life is realized in full. Amazing clarity in details in this fantastic scene and it makes me glad there are very few lionesses free in California! Well, sort of...no, really! I always smell like Cherry Jello when I leave the house! LOL! Man, who am I kidding...nothing beats chomping down on a healthy hare between meals. It keeps the fur and sheen shiny! A ver clever follow up to your last post and I can appreciate very much what you created here! Outstanding work, as always, Carol...now where is my camoflage Snoopy hat??

A bit brutal, but nevertheless a fact of life. Survival of the fittest is the way of life for these big cats. Outstanding work Carol!

I just love lions for some reason... maybe because they are so human as you say in a previous picture... and you do them so wonderfully! Excellent!

Wow, Carol! The contrast between the lioness' sophistication and killer instinct (yet one that exists due to a drive for survival) is poetry in motion in this image. This is breathtaking on so many levels. I love how you've also used the greenery to bring out the blood. Fantastic work as usual!
