these are actually bigger than this, but due to sizing on here I've had to make them way small etc...

Dear Kali, I don't think you need to worry too much about the size for Renderosity. You can go out to 4000 X 4000 pixels as long as you stay under the 512 Kb limit. In a pretty complex image like my recent "toll booth" ones with all the leaves and stuff I posted it at 1000 X 800 and only had to use about 5% Jpeg compression to keep it under 512 KB. I don't know how much compression you are using, but with the large solid color areas, I suspect your can double the size and still stay under 512 Kb without having to up the compression much. It might not need any compression because of the large green area. Jpeg does a Huffman lossless compression even at 0% compression which helps a lot on larger images. Just something to think about!!!! I spoke in the previous one how a case could be made for dropping me into either the Aries or Taurus bin - which leads to either Mars or Venus - which just shows what an odd mix I am!!!! (But then you knew that already!!!!!) ;-) I really like the deep green and vegetation of "earth." Given the choice, I'd probably go with Taurus as a contellation sign, simply because of the many interesting things there. The Pleides have always been the most gorgeous asterism to me!! I even painted them once in one of my miserable attempts with acrylic!! And also the Hyades open cluster that forms the horns. And the Crab Nebula with the first detected pulsar and the nova of 1504 that really helped jump start astronomy!!! And even the fact that the bull seems to be charging down on Orion's raise shield!! It is truly a most magical portion of the night sky!!!!! Very nice posing and compositing!!! Hmmm - most people, (or at least the tacky ones,) would say that I need LOTS of guidance to stability!!!!!!! ;-) Love ya!!! Meredith
