Description

I'm wasting time with my new Carrara 5 Pro software so no 3D from me today, at least not anything publishable. So here is one of my image sets from my trip to Alaska last May. These shots were taken on the Mount Roberts Tramway in Alaska's state capital Juneau. The tram is quite a trip up (3800+ feet) with a great view down over the city. There is a visitor center, some stores, a restaurant and an eagle rehabilitation project going on there (thus the eagle image). The tree carving is probably native art of the Tlingit but I am not certain on that point. The sign, while not very arty in nature hit my funny bone dead on so I just had to snap a picture. :-) - Here are some of my other recent works (I sometimes post at odd hours, so you may have missed them the first time around): thumb_1368855.jpg thumb_1368183.jpg thumb_1367614.jpg thumb_1367057.jpg thumb_1366421.jpg thumb_1365775.jpg

Wow, the first time I've ever viewed a collage of photos and was unable to choose a favorite among them. They are all neato keeno, K! I like the POV and depth of the tram photo and the tree carving a lot, but the sign and the eagle are great also. Decisions, decisions!

All well taken and very interesting shots. Every one is special on it's own merits.

Huh - got yourself a bald eagle! and the rest is pretty cool, too. Wonder why they don't allow bears. Snowboarders I can understand...

I cannot imagine why a bear would not be allowed. I mean it is their park. LOL. Nice collage and I love the eagle.

That is quite a view, but no bears! You should send that shot of the sign to colbertnation.com.
