Description

Ok, this is just a test render of a patrol Droid that I've been working on. I used Blender 3d's built in texture features, but I plan doing a UV unwrap and giving it a detailed texture. (oil stains, burn marks on the gun nozzle, ect.) I'm new to Blender, so I still have some things to learn, like rigging the armatures, so I'm sure I'll be making improvements to the design as I get more familiar with Blender. *note: I changed picture to give a better view of the design* Thank you for viewing!

Very nice. Maybe a closer render to show some of the details would be cooler.

welcome to the land of the blend. should you want to know anything, just put a post up in the forum. armatures are hard. the last thing i learned how to do in blender and most tedious. try adding glow composite nodes

Cool image. Again, welcome to Blender. Tutorials are not hard to find. Check out Blendernation.com, blenderartists.org, or check out the forums. Great work. Can't wait to see more.
